About the Job
At Swinburne we're looking for an AV Technical Lead to take us forward into the next generation of AV solutions and underpinning architecture for our Learning & Meeting Spaces.
Your work as a Senior AV Engineer will directly improve the learning outcomes of our students as you design the AV solutions for our offices and study spaces in line with Swinburne’s current and future needs. Drawing upon your extensive experience within the AV field, you will:
- develop and maintain a catalogue of AV/IT solutions and their underpinning architectural standards
- identify technologies and other areas of interest that will enhance outcomes within Swinburne learning spaces
- contribute to the preparation and evaluation of tenders for the procurement of AV equipment by providing your advice as SME
- assess current designs and make recommendations driven by Swinburne’s three strategic pillars

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A degree level qualification in information technology, information systems, or extensive experience in AV/IT enterprise architecture ideally in a mid-large education or large service sector organisation
- Demonstrated application of AV/IT architecture, design, support and management of technologies and associated software at a large enterprise level
- Extensive experience providing technical leadership and solution architecture for audio visual projects
- Experience in developing written audiovisual service strategies, technology roadmaps and programme plans with an ability to exploit technology advancements
