About the College/Portfolio
The RMIT Urban School offers senior secondary pathways education( Victorian Certificate of Education) to over 450 students per annum. The school is located in inner-city Melbourne and equips learners with agency, competencies and a sense of purpose, to shape their own lives and contribute to the lives of others.
As the Laboratory Technician, you will be required to support Year 11 and Year 12 teaching and learning programs and be responsive to the STEM Co-ordinator, the VCE teaching staff, the Urban School Program Managers, and the Associate Dean- Urban School.
This role will see you responsible for maintaining, and demonstrating the operation of, laboratory equipment and instruments, preparing practical elements of laboratory classes and providing technical support to staff and students as well as maintain the laboratory and supporting facilities, to ensure the occupational health and safety of staff and students.
