The Australia Business Transformation team is looking for a Technical Documentation Writer who is passionate about transformational change and doing great things for our customers, to help us redefine banking for the future. Join us as we reimagine services using the latest platforms and technology, to better support our customers financial wellbeing.
If you enjoy explaining how things work, have proven technical writing skills, and love sharing knowledge, then we would like to hear from you. We are looking at innovative ways to help engineer learn and develop and wed love your help.
Youll work across a variety of areas including documenting how internal software works, writing training information, updating onboarding instructions and improving ANZs open source software documentation.
What will Your Day look like? Write and edit clear instructional content for developers, including technical content, training material and communication content.
Use customer data to inform content strategy and improvements
Identify opportunities for improvements and innovations in existing engineer content and effectively present those ideas to stakeholders
Maintain, distribute, and implement a content plan.
What will be in your toolkit?-
A track record of delivering results on tight deadlines

Ability to use data to make informed decisions

At least 3+ years writing experience in technical writing, instructional writing, white papers or comparable academic experience (e.g. blogs, tutorials, books Instagram doesnt count J)
Bonus Skills include:

Experience researching and writing excellent documentation for developers (APIs, SDKs, web technologies).

Experience with Git and Markdown

CI/CD DevOps experience, experience with software development lifecycles

Experience with agile development methods and practices

Portfolio of code samples on a service such as GitHub
