About the role /College
The Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Group lead the provision of services to support the welfare and wellbeing of students. The Group works proactively to remove barriers and provide support to students who may be at risk of not being able to access or successfully complete their tertiary study. In addition the Group responds to requests for assistance and support from students who have welfare and wellbeing concerns and from staff who may refer them. The Group is not only involved in direct service delivery but also in building capability among students through student mentoring, co-creation and leadership development initiatives, and among staff through focused professional development.
The Coordinator, Student Accommodation Partnerships provides quality coordination to an interesting and diverse portfolio of initiatives, designed to support the unique service experience of RMIT students. The position will contribute to service design and delivery within the Group including process mapping, coordination of gathering and reporting information in a variety of formats, supporting contract management, monitoring project progress and contract performance of student accommodation and other service providers.
About you
You will work closely with staff to comprehensively document existing business processes; compile, synthesise and map data; analyse and identify synergies and business process improvement opportunities. You will have proven experience mapping business processes using visual management software such as ProMapp. Key to your success will be your highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Important to this role will be your excellent analytical research and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated experience developing and delivering targeted, compelling reports and complex written work to a high standard. In addition, you will demonstrate flexibility and initiative, by working independently and with limited direction, as well as effectively within a dynamic small team environment.
Qualifications
The appointee will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, and experience in project and administrative support.
Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
