About The Role

Role Location: 242 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000

Role Type: 12 months fixed-term contract; Part-time (22hours per week)


As the Collections Coordinator for Remediation, you will be responsible for managing the administration of debt recovery against financial advisers where remediation has been paid by ANZ and for providing administration support on professional indemnity insurance recoveries.


Your key accountabilities will include:  

  • Assisting the business in coordinating the administration of recoveries from current or past financial advisers of Authorised Dealer Groups (ADGs)
  • Working closely with the Finance Department to ensure the correct recovery action is taken and reconciled
  • Preparation of briefs for external legal providers in recovery actions and provision of administration support & reporting for professional indemnity insurance claims
  • Developing and documenting recovery procedures, monthly reporting to key stakeholders, and case preparation for negotiated settlements
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, insurance brokers, and external legal providers
  • Compliance with all policies and procedures relating to risk & compliance 
About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:  

  • Experience in collections & recovery processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
