About the role /College
As one of the largest Business Schools in the Asia Pacific region, the College of Business is comprised of seven schools six in Melbourne and one in Vietnam - delivering a broad range of programs in Business, ranging from Certificates up to PHD levels. Many programs articulate between Vocational Education and Higher Education, creating pathways for further study. RMIT Business programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, Shanghai and Jakarta, as well as through Open Universities Australia (OUA) and RMIT Online. The College has an annual budget of approximately $280 million, employs over 600 staff and delivers programs to approximately 31,000 students (21,000 EFTSL).

There is now an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Information Systems to join the school and make a positive contribution to the schools research and teaching efforts. This position will be responsible for carrying out teaching activities for the suite of programs offered by the school. As a Lecturer, you will be required to promote programs, establish relationships with variety of stakeholders and create a rewarding learning experience for RMITs students.
About you
In this position, you will demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials. You will also demonstrate the capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning. In addition, excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with higher degree by research candidates, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration will be imperative to your success in this role. Candidates with knowledge in one or more of the following; Security, Blockchain or Strategy will be highly considered.
