What will Your Day look like? As a Senior Openshift and Cloud Engineer you will play a major role in in developing, deploying and supporting ANZs Enterprise Risk Tech Applications. You will be tasked with solving various problems over time. When the situation calls for it, youll be part of a team that implements vendor sourced enterprise software, configuring that software, customizing it, and integrating with other internal systems.
Other times, youll be primarily tasked with creating custom-built software
What will be in your toolkit? -
Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipeline and DevOps concepts interlaced with Bamboo/Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, S2I, Red Hat OpenShift and
-
Advanced understanding of Anthos, GKE and GCP
-
Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.

Experience running Platforms (Hadoop/Openshift/Analytics)
-
Experience using NoSQL DBs including MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Memcached/Redis

Experience onboaring applications on Openshift and deploying operators.

Ability to speak to endusers and vendors to work with them to bring on the workloads to Openshift

Familiarity with programming chatbots such as Hubot, Cog, Errbot would be an added advantage.
