About the College / portfolio

The Centre for Innovative Justice

The Centre was established in 2012 to research, teach and promote modern and innovative ways of delivering justice both through formal court processes and within and across the broader justice system.

The Centre’s objective is to drive, develop and expand the capacity of the justice system to meet and adapt to the needs of its diverse users, and to contribute in a positive way to addressing the underlying issues that bring people into contact with the justice system.

About you

You will have extensive experience in delivering & implementing advocacy and engagement strategies, and in engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders including the legal and community sector, government, courts, statutory authorities, students and university staff. You will possess excellent writing and visual skills and an ability to research, collate, analyse & conceptualise complex information that is targeted and responsive.  You will be flexible and adaptable with an ability to work independently while using a collaborative approach to work. This role will offer the successful candidate a diverse range of work and the opportunity to work with a supportive team to make a difference in improving access to justice.

Qualifications

Degree qualified related discipline with relevant working experience or experience in legal and/or higher education setting will be highly regarded.

Candidate with experience in developing and implementing advocacy and communications strategies for wide range of stakeholders such as legal and community representatives, government departments and agencies, and NGOs will be desirable.
