What is your tribe mission?

 

 

The purpose of the Group Payments Tech Area is to transform Payments by fortifying existing platforms, simplifying and standardising processes and technology and by enabling our business through reusable end to end services

 

What will Your Day look like?

 

 

As an Engineer Payments, you need to Support PAG and SAG in both Non-production and Production environment (DevOps) as well as carry out version upgrades and security upgrades when required.

 

 

You will also be working closely with users to assist with AWP (Alliance Web Platform) testing and with infrastructure team for OS and infrastructure changes/support. You will also be involved in assisting with User and certificate configuration and help with troubleshooting

 

 

You will also be expected to update Confluence and JIRA and Support any incidents.

 

 

 

What will be in your toolkit?

 

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, patterns and practices.

• Practical experience applying good design principles to developing/configuring SWIFT applications such as SAG, SNL,AWP (performance, scalability, security)

• Experience consuming and producing integration endpoints (services, message queues, Business processes, RA).

• Practical experience with at least one programming language and Unix shell scripts.

• Understanding of application infrastructure specifically AIX and RHEL (networks, application servers, databases, integration)

   
  

Relevant Experience

 

• 3-5 years of application development/configuration/support experience for the SAG, SNL, AWP, SAG HSM, VPN

• Soft Skills – A team player, A collaboration champion, Continuous improvement junkie, A problem solverG.

• Good Knowledge about SWIFT message and File processing

 

You might also have the following specialised skills:

 

• Experience with application design patterns e.g. EIP [Enterprise Integration Patterns])

• Solid understanding of end-to-end behaviour of enterprise applications, from front end through to database, authentication and access control

• Good Knowledge of Unix and Linux platforms. 

• Good Payments domain knowledge
