About the role

As the Officer, Assessment Adjustments you will be a part of a collaborative team and work in a customer-focused environment providing advice on queries concerning the special consideration and HESA remission of debt in special circumstances processes. You will work across multiple email accounts and systems to provide timely and accurate advice to stakeholders on the Assessment policy and processes, as well as provide administrative ad hoc support related to these activities. You will also assist in processes special consideration and HESA remission of debt in special circumstances applications.


About you

The successful applicant will have previous experience in providing high quality administrative and/or customer service support within tertiary sector and/or within large and complex organisation. You will have strong communication skills as well as writing and proof-reading skills to be able to provide accurate advice to students and staff on existing complex processes through multiple communication channels. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and display diplomatic approach in resolving complex issues will enable you to be successful in this role. Previous experience with a student management system will be advantageous. Your previous experience in working in a busy, high volume work environment will be an asset to this passionate and dynamic team.

Qualifications

Experience in a university, student services or customer service environment is highly desirable.

Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline and/or relevant experience is also highly desirable.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
