Equipment Finance Sales Manager
 
Role Location: Based in Brisbane or Sunshine Coast QLD (flexible).
 

Position Purpose

  • this Sales role is responsible for driving growth in ANZ Equipment Finance in the Brisbane metro & Sunshine Coast regions servicing Relationship Managers in Business Banking and Specialist Banking and their clients
  • by developing productive relationships with customers and internal partners and proactively offering solutions, products and services to meet their needs, you will help grow the ANZ Equipment Finance business
  • in addition, you will deliver a compelling and rewarding customer experience, maintaining and attracting our most valuable customers within the segment.
  • it is envisaged that the successful applicant will have experience in a similar or related role within the Equipment Finance industry
 
Perform
  • contribute to ANZ Equipment Finance income and growth targets, and meet or exceed individual targets
  • manage penetration with existing ANZ customer base, through educating and motivating ANZ managers
  • anticipate & deliver solutions that ensure all aspects of your customers Equipment Finance needs are met
  • generate new and maintain existing client relationships
  • create, maintain and lever off new and existing referral networks
  • proactively identify and address new and existing sources of business
  • ability to facilitate training and development of other specialists and associates

  • specialises in particular industry market through an intrinsic understanding of industry specific customer needs
 

Customer First

  • extend excellent customer experience to customers within designated ANZ Banking segments, providing quality, timely and precise responses to clients Maintains composure under adversity and is able to manage multiple transactions concurrently
  • apply business creation strategies in order to help meet client’s financial goals, calling in specialists where required
  • provide total client relationship management, including recommendation and introduction of other ANZ professional services as appropriate. Be always approachable and act as a reference point for customer enquiries
 

Lead & Inspire

  • build and maintain strong relationships within the entire ANZ framework.
  • provide a level of service which develops referrals through customer recommendations
  • may specialise in providing coaching and training to other associates as technical skill set. More emphasis on development skills, requiring a strong focus on development and learning facilitation
 

Well Managed

  • operates within policy, regulatory and legislative guidelines
  • complete all necessary training modules relevant to the Role
  • maintain current market, legislative and industry knowledge and current product knowledge by attending required seminars and training programmes
  • feed back Market Intelligence in a structured way
  • maintain overall quality of portfolio in accordance with group guidelines, conducting portfolio reviews as required and identifying and controlling risk exposure
 
Qualifications


Essential Experience Profile 

  • financial background with a strong understanding of the Equipment Financing Industry and previous client service experience, supporting key relationship referral points
  • excellent personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate workflow through prioritisation of tasks, diary management, etc. Ability to use initiative & work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met
  • well-developed verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated computer literacy
  • strong Product knowledge
  • sales and networking experience with relationship building skills and the ability to manage clients
  • demonstrated sales prospecting skills with a proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets/results
  • the ability to read and interpret financial data to support Equipment financing credit applications 
 

Desired Experience Profile 

  • three years’ experience in the Equipment Finance industry (or similar) role
  • demonstrated sales prospecting skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets / results, ideally gained within the Banking or Equipment Finance industry
  • demonstrated High Level influencing and negotiation skills with matching written and verbal communication skills
  • understanding of specific client/industry segments, products and distribution channels is desirable
  • previous client service experience, supporting key relationship referral points
  • excellent personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate workflow through prioritisation of tasks, diary management
  • ability to use initiative & work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met
