About The Role

Role Location: 55 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 or 242 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

As a Remediation Case Manager, you will assess the financial planning client files and related data to determine the appropriateness of the advice provided, assess detriment, document findings and put forward a recommendation in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

You will work both individually and as a team member in a broader remediation team that consists of professionals with a wide range of skillsets. You will examine for detriment across a broad spectrum of issues such as; asset allocation, insurance, service related issues. You will also be required to complete Peer Reviews of other Case Managers as well as articulate remediation requirements to forums, management, financial planners and peers.


You will accurately and efficiently complete assigned cases, undertake case review in required timeframes in a fast paced and challenging environment and work on a variety of cases which differ in degrees of complexity.

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong experience in Financial Planning Industry – minimum 7 years (ex. Financial Planner, Paraplanner, Compliance, Vetting, Remediation)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective relationships with stakeholders

  • Good time management and planning skills

  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy

  • Previous Advice Remediation experience is highly regarded
