Role Type: 12 month fixed-term opportunity (x2 open opportunities)
As a Case Investigations Manager for Target Review & NFLR, you will be part of the broader advice supervision and monitoring function. You will be responsible for managing target reviews in relation to Financial Planning advice, whilst also managing a pipeline of non-financial remediation events. You will focus on issue detection and prevention of reoccurrence. You will embed sound compliant practices to promote an environment of continual quality of advice uplift.
You will be responsible for conducting reviews and managing remediation events in relation to;
whether advice provided was appropriate or inappropriate
identification of themes or trends across file reviewed
presenting findings in relation to conducted reviews
determining if implementation was carried out correctly
assessing the likelihood of any customer detriment arising from review findings
recommending remedial action plans to correct identified issues and prevent future reoccurrence
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or similar industry qualification (RG146) with a sound understanding of the advice process gained via experience in a financial planning related field (e.g. Financial Planner, Paraplanner, Compliance, Vetting and Remediation)
Proven experience on remediation projects and strong understanding of the advice remediation process
Strong knowledge of Advice Regulatory and Legislative requirements and issues
Proven effective stakeholder engagement and management
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy
