About the Job
At the Swinburne Business School, we are passionate about elevating the impact and capability of our Information Systems discipline. As the Senior Lecturer, you will be integral to helping us achieve this. You will make an invaluable contribution to the development of a suite of academic programs, including working with our academic team to initiate program change and innovation.
Utilising expertise in delivering innovative learning tools, the Senior Lecturer will provide engaging and industry relevant curriculum in areas such as business intelligence, data visualisation and cyber security in an applied business context. You will facilitate professional learning experiences for students and employ internationalisation opportunities in curriculum and pedagogy development.
The Senior Lecturer will make a significant contribution to the research culture, activities and output of the Faculty of Business and Law, including performing impactful research that contributes to Information Systems practice and contributing to quality journal publications. This position will actively mentor and consult with students in industry-engaged learning placements, as well as supervise PhD and Masters by Research students.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- An earned doctoral qualification in Information Systems or a closely related field
- A strong background in teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and strong teaching outcomes in a relevant business discipline
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative education, including blended learning formats, online teaching and the use of case studies, role-plays and/or simulations
- A track record of publishing in discipline-relevant, quality academic journals and conducting impactful research
