About the Job
An exciting position exists for a highly organised and pro-active Executive Officer who will be responsible for providing high level executive support and advice on the strategic and operational matters relating to the Faculty.
You will possess a high-level understanding of issues affecting the Tertiary sector nationally and internationally. This role reports to Faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor and may provide support to the wider Faculty Executive.
With broad direction, duties will include analysis, research and project management of Faculty initiatives. The position will also be responsible for the preparation of responses for a range of internal and external communications, reports and presentations on behalf of the Faculty leadership team.
On behalf of the Faculty leadership team, the Executive Officer may be required to represent the Faculty on a range of university wide committees and cross functional projects.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Completion of a bachelor degree with extensive relevant executive administration experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Extensive experience in a high-level administrative role, which required high level creative, planning and management functions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues.
