Your role as a Desk Risk Manager Â– Benchmark Transition will support the Markets business in order to deliver effective change relating specifically to the Benchmark Transition Project (PMT Project) activities arising from the decommissioning of LIBOR and other historical systemically important benchmark rates.Â Your role will need to ensure that the transition to a new benchmark rates is well managed and takes into consideration all non-financial risks including Operational Risk, Conduct Risk and Regulatory Risk.Â The role will work closely with the Benchmark Transition Project to ensure their specific scope deliverables are delivered in line with bank expectations and within risk appetite.Â This is through application of group wide compliance and operational risk policies and frameworks, regulation and industry standards as well as the maintenance of an effective control environment.Â
You will support the business in ensuring Strategic planning, vision and direction are well governed and developed in a controlled and sustainable manner.Â You will build and report specific key metrics to assist the business monitor the progress of Benchmark transition with specific focus on both the external and internal market readiness and transition to the use of the new rates.ÂÂ
