About the Opportunity

North Rocks Uniting Preschool is one of the longest standing Preschools in the area. Our Exceeding service is approved for 24 children each day and offers a Children’s agency, indoor/ outdoor program. Our indoor learning space is warm and welcoming and our large outdoor environment provides a stimulating environment for children to explore and learn at their own pace. We incorporate a Bush Kindy into our programming that supports increased social and imaginative play. Our team is dedicated to creating an environment for learning, personal growth and confidence. 

North Rocks Preschool is run by a management committee made up of parents and congregation members and supported by North Rocks Community Church. A close relationship is a must and willingness to engage and work collaboratively with all members towards positive community relationships.

What you need to succeed:

• Must have completed a Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous on the job experience (preferred)
• A work history that demonstrates, programming, recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Must hold a current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and First Aid
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
• Medium to advance computer skills
