What will your day look like?


As an Engineer working within Digital Marketing Engineering, you will be responsible for building and evolving our Adobe landscape, with a particular focus on developing on our Adobe Experience Cloud environment, and its associated technologies.

As part of this role we will be looking to you to provide advice on the right mix of solutions, and working alongside our marketing teams to select and build products within our digital marketing and data ecosystems.

As an Engineer working alongside our Learn and Adopt Value stream, your team’s mission is to focus on solutions that transform the way our customers learn about, and purchase ANZx products and services. You’ll leverage a range of Adobe solutions including Adobe AEM, Analytics, Test & Target and Campaign.  Additionally, you will interface with many other online solutions being built out as part of ANZx including Identity management, Mobile, Product management and Origination platforms.

As an engineer within this team, you will be responsible for defining our development tooling and work with our platform teams to help shape the CI/CD pipelines for your space.

 

What will be in your toolkit?

  • A deep understanding of sound code practices.
  • A solid understanding of the Adobe Marketing suite.
  • A deep engineering knowledge of Adobe AEM and Extensive experience in AEM Template and Component Development in Touch UI using HTL
  • Breadth of experience on web development stacks and a good understanding of front-end code.
  • Understanding of how-to setup frontend build systems which includes node.js, NPM, Gulp/Grunt. Hands-on experience on FED work in AEM platform using HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript/JQuery.
  • Added advantage of knowing any JavaScript framework like Angular or React.
  • A strong understanding of the components within a digital marketing eco-system
  • Ability to demonstrate working within cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
