Role Type: Permanent Full-Time

As a Director, Private Advisory, you will assume a leadership role within ANZ Private Bank NSW with people management responsibilities and helping lead a dynamic team across a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) ‘Private Advisory’ clients, whom are transitioning (or who have transitioned) through a significant ‘life changing’ liquidity event, such as a business sale.

You will also be responsible for meeting the end-to-end wealth and banking needs of existing UHNW clients by extracting deep knowledge of their needs, improving strategic dialogue and providing market leading strategic advice solutions across banking, debt advisory, cash management, investments & advice and broader wealth management including markets. You are also expected to help drive the growth of the Private Advisory segment within ANZ Private NSW, by focusing on client centricity, process, new client acquisition and going to market with a market leading proposition. 

About You

• Leadership experience and qualities
  
• People management / coaching skills
  
• Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor who is able to represent clients’ interests and evolving needs
  
• Deep technical expertise and knowledge of the investment and wealth industries
  
• Comprehensive understanding of markets & investments experience
  
• Tertiary qualification in Business and/or MBA/CFP
  
• Well established client networks in the UHNW / Family business market
  
• Strong banking & relationship management background
  
• Strong internal stakeholder skills and wide COI network required with proven history of people management and coaching of a small team within a dynamic growth environment
