Control Assessment Manager, Controls Assessment Private Banking & Advice (PB&A) Business Assurance
Location: 55 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC
Role Type: Permanent Full-time
The purpose of PB&A Business Assurance is to assist PB&A through providing expertise to help them manage operational risk and protect our customers, bankers and shareholders.
As a Control Assessment Manager, you will support PB&A in identifying, designing and assessing controls to protect shareholders, customers and bankers.

What you bring to PB&A Business Assurance as a Control Assessment Manager?
Strong collaboration with PB&A business stakeholders (Financial Advice and Banking), partnering to develop effective operational risk management solutions
Desire to identify, assess and improve the control environment and present risk data in meaningful timely and innovative ways
Creating a thorough understanding of how our customers and bankers embed proactive and sustainable controls in everyday activities
Using analytical insights and identifying opportunities to build controls into business processes to better balance risk with customer propositions
Willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate
Strong stakeholder engagement/communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build relationships
Candidates who have experience working in an operational risk management/assurance role and who have an understanding of financial planning/advice are preferred.
