About Your Role

The Commercial Data Analyst is a member of the Armidale Class Patrol Boats (ACPB) Commercial team and is accountable to the Business Performance Manager for cost and data analysis including the identification and tracking of cost drivers and assisting with the financial close out of MPs.

  • Analysis of expenditure, commitments and vendor payment timeframes on the ACPB project
  • Tracking purchase order closure and commitments and providing internal reporting.
  •  Analyse cost drivers and play a key role in monthly reporting to the client
  •  Assist stakeholders where process improvements can be made in the Maintenance period life cycle, through correct and efficient use of Thales tools
  • Support development and testing of the Thales internal software tool Trident to enable better integration and maintenance lifecycle outcomes

How About You?

  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Business, Statistics or similar
  • Experience in a finance or data analysis or related role
  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheets/word processing software
  • Developed interpersonal skills.
