Contribute to redesigning Swinburne’s external website as part of the Digital Experience Transformation Program (DXP). If you’re interested in translating difficult concepts into easy-to-understand copy, have a thorough understanding of SEO and a can-do attitude, read on.

About the Job
Working as part of the project team, the successful applicant will be responsible for writing new website content to tell stories, engage different audiences, perform well in SEO rankings and provide our users with positive digital experiences. With a focus on redesigning the Swinburne website, our new Content Writer will creatively and accurately translate research recommendations and project guidelines to develop optimized content that enables a positive user experience for many and varied audiences with different needs and wants.

You will be required to liaise with key important contacts across various Swinburne business units to achieve signoff on reimagined content, whilst developing proactive and robust relationships with DXP project colleagues and stakeholders across the University to enable effective content writing so good stakeholder management skills are a must.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• A degree in marketing, communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or education/ training
• Demonstrated experience writing, editing, creating and producing on-brand content for a range of audiences and channels
• Demonstrated experience translating difficult concepts into engaging content
• Demonstrated ability to align audience needs and preferences with Swinburne strategies and objectives
• Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to collaboratively create engaging content for our users
