Operations Contract Manager, ANZx

What’s your mission?

As the Operations Contract Manager, supporting the Senior Manager for Contract Management, your mission is to ensure that ANZ is able to extract the best value of service and performance from its contractual arrangements for the bank’s Australia Business Transformation.

You will be responsible for contract administration, regular reviews of vendor performances, and properly monitoring the change management and execution of the changes to contract documents. 

For you to be successful in these tasks, you would need to have regular catch-ups with our vendors to identify and implement opportunities in reducing costs. Your strong relationship management skills will definitely play a huge part to drive benchmark or tender activities, so you should be able to liaise well with vendors and appear strategic in your sourcing abilities.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Advanced Strategic sourcing expert with exceptional negotiation skills across product, services and software.  Outstanding ability to draft agreements and statements of work and conduct RFP’s.
• Stakeholder Management: Established strong supplier relationships, experience managing relationships in a matrix org structure.  Ability to gain stakeholder confidence and trust in order to lead sourcing events on behalf of the Bank
• Strategic thinker:  Operative, strategic with the ability to identify and exploit innovative concepts leading at a global level through complex projects.   Ability to identify opportunities to deliver against targets in an often volatile or complicated environment.
• Strong project management expertise: ability to handle multiple urgent requirements in a high pressure environment, while ensuring on-time delivery. Extensive years sourcing project management experience
• Effective communicator: Established strong supplier relationships, internal/external client executive’s communication with ability to reach consensus across category strategies, targets and savings commitment
