About the role
Seeking for a Full Time Exercise Physiologists to facilitate our newly open Seniors Gym in Mayflower Westmead.
Looking for immediate commencement at our Lilyfield Seniors Gym until the grand opening of the Westmead Seniors Gym in September.
You will be focussed on leading the development, implementation and review of the strength and balance programs in line with each client’s needs and goals. You will assist across home visit programs, exercise classes and the Senior’s Gym.
Key responsibilities will include;
- To facilitate quality, timely and effective client assessment and exercise delivery to match with client's needs in collaboration with the Senior's Gym, Healthy Living for Seniors team and Home Care Package team
- Undertake health promotion activities relating to the area of professional expertise for both individual and targeted groups of clients and/or their families and staff
- To contribute to the promotion of the service in the local community
- Commit to the achievement of client outcomes
About you
- Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sports Science or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Australian Driver’s License and access to own car
- Experience with Gym Supervision preferable in Aged Care environment
