Product Owner - Buy and Own a Home ANZx

What’s your mission?

As a Product Owner within the Buy and Own a Home Value Stream, your team’s mission is to focus on solutions that transform the way our customers buy and own their home by creating a simple and transparent digital home ownership experience that gives customers self-assurance throughout. You’ll leverage property data and process automation to drive faster and better decision making, removing friction, and delivering a radically better customer experience.

Enabling and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team ('Squad') to deliver on the Value Stream’s vision, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad and ‘why’. The Product Owner constantly prioritises the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. They take responsibility for the full life-cycle of the product from inception through to development, launch and support.

The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the mission of the Value Stream, and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key management role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer and business value at pace.

• Previous experience as a Product Owner will be highly regarded
