About the opportunity
We have multiple opportunities for permanent part-time Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive Home & Community Care team.
Illawarra - Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, 7AM to 7PM.
You must be available to work weekends on a rotating roster.
Shoalhaven - Shifts are available Saturday & Sunday, 7AM to 11AM and 4PM to 7PM.
There is potential to pick up weekday shifts but you must be available to work weekends.
Your role will be to assist our ageing clients across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven Region manage their day to day domestic duties. Your support will enable them to live independently in their own home and help them reach their health and lifestyle goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide domestic assistance such as cleaning, cooking and general housework
- Supervise or assist with daily hygiene such as showering, bathing and toileting
- Drive clients to appointments, shopping and social activities
About you
Must have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- Medication competency
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Australian driver’s licence
- Vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Availability to work weekends
