• Proactively build and grow our business through portfolio management, successful relationships, technology and use of data
• Actively coach and collaborate with internal referral partners, team members and the wider Private Bank and Advice business
• Contribute to the overall well managed Private Bank and Advice business from a risk and process perspective

As a Senior Private Investment Adviser, your mission is to identify and understand the investment needs of our high-net worth customers and leverage expertise to enhance their financial position, while of our proactively managing internal and external relationships in the pursuit of actively and ethically growing the Private Banking and Advice business.

Your purpose is to be accountable for the delivery of markets solutions and strategic investment advice, building relationships with clients whilst managing referrals effectively. This role is key in promoting the ANZ Private Bank proposition to our national client base and provide tailored market solutions across the broad spectrum of investments and trading products (including equities, FX and rates). You must effectively collaborate between the ANZ Markets team, CIO functions, Investment Solutions, and external providers to ensure that our tailor-made offering is delivered to the specific need of our customers.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Extensive experience in financial advising and/or industry experience
• A comprehensive understanding of markets and sophisticated investment solutions to meet customer needs
• Proven experience in training bankers regarding markets and sophisticated investment solutions
• Completion of Diploma in Financial Planning
• RG 146 compliant for providing personal advice
• Relevant Degree or Graduate Diploma
• Previously held a Practicing Certificate
• Previous experience in producing financial plans and dispensing advice for a variety of client needs according to the highest ethical standards
• Sound technical knowledge enabling the best outcomes for customers
• Ability to network, use initiative and work autonomously 
• Ability to build productive relationships with team members, referral partners and customers
• Ability to generate new customer opportunities via existing and new sourcing channels
• High-level communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent personal organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
