About The Role

ANZ Private caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and concerns and their financial situation.

As the Advice Director, your mission is to lead and manage a highly qualified Private Bank Advisory team through role-modelling and driving a values-led, accountable culture across your business. You will also drive the efficient and effective delivery of advice solutions to Private Bank customers by extracting deep knowledge of their needs and then providing market leading strategic advice across wealth, insurance and investment solutions.

Apart from looking after the Private Banking team’s operational side, you will also part-take a role in developing your Advisory Team. You will provide coaching and mentoring support to your staff to ensure and enhance the reputation of ANZ Private Bank and Advice capabilities with our customers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -

• Strong leadership and management experience in the Advice industry
• Extensive experience in providing Advice to customers and a comprehensive understanding of markets, sophisticated
• investments and complex strategic solutions including multiple tax structures to meet the customer needsHas industry relevant post graduate qualification, DFP 1-8 required & CFP preferred
• Tax Practitioners Board Accredited or within 12 months
• Strong understanding of end to end advice process including both Retail and Wholesale frameworks
• In depth industry market knowledge, including how our global view and impacts our individual customers
• Ability and willingness to get on the tools as required
• Resilient, fast paced with a strong growth mindset
• Ability to build productive relationships with team members, customers, peers and stakeholders.
• Ability to Identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses
