What's you mission?

As an Integration Engineer working as a part of Platform and Business Services Engineering your mission would be to build and operate enterprise scale application integration solutions. You would help backend teams, data providers and SaaS solutions share their services using APIs, streaming or messaging based integration solutions.

Internal and external application engineers would be your customers and you would focus on delivering great developer experience with your solutions.

You would ensure that your solutions are secure, observable and follow our engineering principles.

You will always look for ways to improve engineering productivity and will help build automation, CI/CD for the Platform.

What will your day look like?

• Working in a cross skilled squad with people both from business and technology to build end to end features
• Helping your squad building right integration solution by analysing their problem and constraints
• Designing the interfaces including Data Models, and implement the API integration, data streaming and messaging solutions based on standards, framework and patterns.
• Support and maintain Integration Platform and deployed Solutions.
• Building Automation, CI/CD for your solution to ensure every change well audited and thoroughly tested.
• Enhance and maintain DevOps framework to accelerate delivery of solutions
• Collaborate with range of stakeholders from security, risk, architecture and leads of other engineering teams
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to maximise the value of deployed solutions.

What will be in your toolkit?

• Minimum 5 years of previous experience in building Integration Solutions as an Engineer or Analyst
• Experience building APIs, Messaging and Streaming based solutions.
• Experience with MuleSoft Platform (Preferred)
• Experience in one of these programming languages - Java, Go, Node.JS or Python
• Working experience with atleast one of the cloud environments AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience building and running containers in a Kubernetes environment
• Interest running design sessions to explain why and how of your solution thinking with others.
• Created easy to follow design documentation to capture your design thinking and approach to share with other stakeholders.
• Build Automation and DevOps tooling to accelerate delivery
• Lead team of other engineers towards a focused outcome
• Knowledge of gRPC and/or Kubernetes would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Banking Industry is an added advantage
