About The Role

The Senior Officer, Information Transformation, is responsible for the management and governance of RMIT�s corporate unstructured and semi-structured information to ensure adherence with risk management practices, data standards and policies, and compliance with external legal requirements.

As a member of the Data Management Centre of Excellence, the role will work alongside other data experts who apply their skills, expertise and passion across a range of data management areas including document and records management, master data, metadata, reference data, data governance, data quality, data risk and data literacy.

Key skills include data analysis and stakeholder management. Key frameworks include traditional and agile project delivery, corporate governance and risk management practices.

About You

  • Five years demonstrated experience working across key components of the information lifecycle in data governance and/or records management specialities.
  • Technical expertise including strong experience with Micro Focus Content Manager and supporting an extensive records management community of users
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders in complex environments to facilitate shared outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence colleagues of all backgrounds, experience and levels of seniority.
  • The ability to translate information management policies and standards into actual outcomes for corporate unstructured data.
  • Exposure to both waterfall and agile practices.
