As the curator and guardian of Swinburne’s social media channels, you’ll pretty much be in charge of managing the world’s first impression of us. A big ask?
You’ll be responsible for our social media strategy and calendar across multiple channels. In doing so, you’ll consult and collaborate with fellow content creators from marketing, communications and other teams.
It goes without saying that you
• Have completed a degree in marketing, advertising, communications or digital media.
• Are an expert at identifying, sourcing and scheduling on-point and on-brand content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Tik Tok. Experience with Snapchat, Weibo and WeChat is a plus.
• Look forward to improving our social content and style so that our channels speak in an unmistakably Swinburne voice.
• Like to test-and-learn. You make decisions based on analytics and report results to stakeholders.
• Are tuned into what’s happening in the influencer space and have proven experience selecting the right talent and building relationships with them.
• Have previously written governance rules for social. You’ve also been in the trenches with community and issues management.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders without breaking (too much of) a sweat.
