About The Role

Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: 12 months fixed-term; Full-time
 

As the Change Specialist, you will lead the delivery and embedding of cross-business organisational change. You will help build and execute change strategies and will help enable and assess the readiness of the organisation.  You will work closely with the Program Change Lead & Change Chapter in the delivery of these change & communications strategies.

 
Your key accountabilities will include: 
  • Designing, developing and implementing change management and communications strategies; addressing individual, team and organisational requirements, organisational obstacles, areas of risk and defined customer impact
  • Validating the alignment of the proposed change and communications to organisational strategy
  • Leading, assessing and managing change diagnostics through monitoring, managing and reporting change activities, managing risks, issues, acceptance and effectiveness
  • Maintaining effective stakeholder engagements and ensuring consistent, clear, and concise communications
  • Mobilising and engaging change networks in building organisational ownership for the change to ensure the successful delivery of the project/program
  • Providing support across the business, particularly in areas most impacted by the changes (including the provision of training if required)
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for change management and communication techniques and by providing supervision, coaching and mentoring
  • Ensuring that the change management and communication activities are delivered within the agreed cost/time parameters
  • Proactively ensuring that all communication risks and potential issues are identified and working across the program to ensure that these are mitigated and planned for
  • Applying the agreed ANZ Change Management Frameworks (including all practices and templates) to implement, transition, and sustain the change 

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

  • Extensive experience in organisational change management with a particular focus on communication
  • Broad knowledge and experience in applying change management activities and techniques (including communications, facilitation, impact assessments, change readiness assessments, and training)
  • Proven ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in guiding and coaching change resources to execute change and communication deliverables
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and make sound and timely decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit reliability and calmness in high-pressure situations
  • Solid understanding of project and change management lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures
  • Good understanding of specific ANZ domain areas impacted by or driving change
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree and professional certifications (e.g. Prosci, CMI)
