About The Role
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Role Type: 10 months fixed-term; full-time
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis and translation of business requirements in to functional and non-functional system specifications. You will perform impact analysis and estimation, perform peer reviews, and engage with business customers and stakeholders. You will support the delivery of solutions through the consultation, analysis, and design phase of the SDLC for the purpose of developing new and enhanced systems and applications.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Acting as the primary interface between the technical team, the business, and the vendor
Partnering effectively with other parts of ANZ (e.g. Technology, Operations) and external vendors
Engagement in the whole project lifecycle (inception, design, development, testing, and deployment)
Verifying that the functional system specifications products are accurate via consultation with the business
Ensuring appropriate consideration of costs, review processes, and implementing suggestions for cost effective solutions
Influence timely decision making to ensure Project Manager and Transition Manager are enabled to deliver as effectively as possible
Delivery of the Configuration Workbooks and Technical or Functional Specification documents
Systems configuration, support of testing phases, and applying fixes for the issues raised during testing, and post production support
Assisting in the planning of the requirements workshops and in the preparation of training materials
Supporting the change management process by proactively identifying and raising risks
Ensuring compliance with a ANZ policies, processes, and standards in systems design
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in a Systems Analyst role providing end-to-end support for system changes and incident management
Experience in translating end user needs into clear business requirements and workable technology outcomes
Experience in configuring and maintaining cloud systems
Experience with Learning Management Systems (Saba preferred); email notification servers; customer service/digital workflow software (e.g. Zendesk; ServiceNow)
Demonstrate knowledge of end-to-end integrations between cloud and on-premise applications, understanding of APIs and API standards
Understanding of Agile processes
Ability to take a strategic and system-wide view and translate this into meaningful delivery plans
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
