About the Job
Reporting into the Deputy Director of Architecture, IT, as our new Solution Architect you will be responsible for developing solution architectures for projects which align with the enterprise architecture and IT strategy. You will oversee the deployment of those projects within the agreed solution architecture. The Solution Architect will also to contribute to the development of IT strategy and architecture, and to coach and support technical groups and work with the ePMO on project delivery.
As our new Solution Architect, you will have the vision and drive to continuously improve solutions in support of IT delivery, working collaboratively with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure recognition of, and responsiveness to, the needs of internal and external clients.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• A postgraduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Previous solution architecture experience.
• Experience in a large-scale project environment.
• Ability to understand business and IT strategy, environment and trends across multiple technologies.
