About The Role
Role Location: Sydney
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time
As an Associate Director in the Research & Analysis team, you will be primarily responsible for identifying and effectively managing risks inherent in a client's business model and industry, capital and management structure, and emerging performance results.
The primary activities of the role covers: Staff management; Client/asset/project performance & risk evaluation & mitigation strategies; Prepare credit submissions; Conduct financial analysis and industry research; Risk grade event management; Liaise with a client and Credit on risk and financial performance related matters; Liaise with credit executives on an on-going basis; Transaction documentation.
You will also work directly with the Relationship Manager, Client, and Credit Executive to complete the broader credit assessment function, negotiate transactions, and ensure an optimal well managed portfolio whilst managing, coaching, developing and leading analysts within the team.
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
· Tertiary qualifications, preferably in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Economics
· Able to structure effectively and negotiate complex financing alternatives and have excellent client handling, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
· In depth knowledge of a broad range of products and services. Demonstrates abilities to structure/tailor value added innovative financial solutions. Financial analysis skills going beyond traditional accounting based analysis. A working knowledge of enterprise valuation techniques and an understanding of the drivers of value creation
· Demonstrated ability in succeeding through collaboration and has the ability to identify key business drivers, mitigate key risks and provide recommendations based on these across multiple complex corporate entities
