About the opportunity
This role is responsible for contributing to the development of the Permanency Support Program (PSP) carer engagement and support, within current and transformational sector permanency and restoration reforms. This role is key in engaging, enlivening and supporting Unitings PSP carers and support services for carers. Members of the Uniting team in this role will relate to carers in the PSP Framework with strong messages about restoration, connection with family and short-term placement principals.
This is an Aboriginal Identified role. Having an understanding of your local community and key Aboriginal stakeholders in your community is essential
This is a full time 12-month maternity leave contract where you will be based in our PSP Ngurambang team in Dubbo.
This role requires candidates to have a relevant Bachelors degree or relevant Diploma working towards a Bachelors degree. The preferred minimum qualifications are Bachelor of Social Work, Social Welfare, Bachelor of Psychology, Nursing and Mental Health.
