About the Scholarship
An exciting opportunity exists for a PhD candidate within The Centre for Transformative Innovation, to work with a team of researchers from Swinburne University of Technology, The University of Melbourne, The University of Kentucky, and The Boeing Company.
The PhD candidate will be embedded within a broader research project that seeks to understand optimal organisational design for coordinating R&D projects in globally-dispersed organisations.
Joining the Swinburne’s Social Network Research Laboratory (http://www.swinburne.edu.au/sna), the candidate will have an opportunity to work with a leading group of network scholars who develop statistical social network models and apply them to real-world challenges involving innovation and organisational networks.
With this exciting opportunity, the successful PhD candidate will have the opportunity to present project results at the ION Conference, obtaining international expert feedback, supporting their publication outcomes, growing their professional networks within the industry and receive funding to visit the University of Kentucky’s Gatton College of Business and Economics.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Academic Background in Management, Organisational Studies, Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Psychology, Technology and Innovation Management
• Strong quantitative skills
• Ability to work with high profile business partner
• Project Management or business experience is desirable.
