Lets talk about you
With significant experience (3 5 years) in a similar role that involves measuring and analysing marketing performance using Google Analytics, youll have strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to evaluate large data sets and make meaningful decision.
This will be supported by your outstanding attention to detail and advanced level MS Excel skills. Youre very comfortable querying databases and have strong data processing and analysis skills.
You have an innate ability to identify, interpret and analyse business processes, digital marketing platform functionalities, and KPIs to gauge traffic trends, lead behaviour, and measure sales. This is supported by your outstanding knowledge of and direct marketing testing principles.
Holding relevant tertiary education preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Analytics, Marketing or Digital technology, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments will be essential as well as in developing analytics reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio and MS Excel. Expertise in using the Salesforce suite, and extracting and drawing insights from the CRM is preferable as well as with any of the following marketing tools is a plus: Unbounce, Google Tag Manager & DoubleClick, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to join the RMIT Online Marketing team, who is passionate about driving insights to deliver customer & business outcomes.
The role will be responsible for collecting, analysing, reporting & developing insights across the website and marketing data for our customers, competitors, web behaviour and campaign effectiveness, to feed into our marketing planning in order to optimise the promotion of courses online and accelerate our acquisition targets.
The role reports to the Digital Acquisition Manager and requires someone who is a real problem solver that has a natural curiosity for performance data and customer behaviour, along with the initiative and means to track down the appropriate data and translate this into actionable insights.
With strong attention to detail and an inquisitive mind, the successful incumbent will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, juggle competing priorities as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The Marketing Analyst will:
Salary range: Annual base salary of AUD 70,000 to AUD80,000 + 9.5% Superannuation.
