About the Job
Our Discipline of Nursing has been an exciting addition to the Department of Health Professions which sits within the School of Health Sciences. As a result, nursing is rapidly developing in the innovative and progressive environment of Swinburne University. We are seeking to enhance the talent and capability of the discipline with a lecturer who can bring innovation and energy to our teaching and research activities.
This ongoing position provides a strong commitment to curriculum development, academic teaching, and research activity in nursing. The incumbent will convene and teach undergraduate and postgraduate units, develop and manage industry partnerships, conduct research and where relevant, supervise research students.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Doctorate or Masters qualification in Nursing or related discipline
- NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Currency of professional clinical experience in relevant, defined area
- Understanding of trends and issues associated with nursing education
