About the role /college

The Digital Assets Developer is responsible for design and development of simulations which provide engaging learning.  This position will develop resources that support deep learning through co-development with academic SMEs and other digital media experts. 

Key accountabilities as a Digital Assets Developer:

  • Effectively engage with learning designers and developers, external units and subject matter experts to produce digital media solutions and production briefs that lead to high quality simulations that enhance the educational experience  
  • Work in partnership with subject matter experts to create engaging, high quality digital simulations focussed on enhancing learning of difficult concepts and assessing skills developed through that learning 
  • Work in partnership with academic subject matter experts, learning designers, ITS, and external organisations as required to ensure fitness for purpose of the finished product  

About you
  • Industry or research experience in building UI/UX for games and simulation tools
  • Strong software skills, including mastery of key programming languages, and an ability to work in teams using collaboration tool
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of physically accurate simulations and AR/VR models which create effective and engaging learning, particularly using industry grade tools 
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience providing high-level customer service to ensure all stakeholders achieve desired outcome

 

Qualifications
  •  A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a teaching or training or related discipline; or Demonstrable Experience.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
