About the role

As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) within the College of Design and Social Context. In this role, you will maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in the provision of a range of services including calendar management; meeting and project support;  monitoring correspondence received by the DVC’s office and preparation of correspondence on behalf of the DVC. You will also foster a culture of continuous process improvement by managing and reviewing office administration systems.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in providing executive support to a senior executive or equivalent in a university environment
  • Highly developed organisation and planning skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to draw on your internal network and resources, and build new effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to draft high quality correspondence on a range of complex, sensitive and confidential matters whilst maintaining high attention to detail

Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive relevant experience.
