About the Role
In this role, you will be required to develop and build professional and vocational workforce capability for vocational educators to meet both industry standards and enhance innovation in learning and teaching. You will be responsible for the development of opportunities for the teaching community to enhance skills and experience across learning pedagogy, Vocational currency and competency and industry currency. You will work across all teams in Vocational Education (VE), with a view of developing practitioner skills using innovative delivery of learning, digital literacy and providing practical industry connections which will enhance the student experience. You will be required to provide both an advisory and coaching service to educators and educational leaders, with the objective of enhancing the learner experience in VE.
About You
You will have strong experience in managing and leading staff through transformative change, including the ability to create systemic linkages to improve service delivery and to lead cultural and work practice changes in a demanding and changing environment. You will also have experience undertaking training gap analysis and creating professional development strategies that are solution focused. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, the ability to influence others, build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders will be imperative to your success in this role. In addition, you will demonstrate a high level of computer literacy across a range of platforms (i.e. full Microsoft suite, Collaborate Ultra, Canvas, SAMS and others).
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and proven expertise in the development of educators, and/or relevant industry experience in an organisational development or learning and development role.
Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
