About the College

The STEM College holds a leading position and expertise in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and health (STEM) fields. STEM College employs 1,000 staff who deliver onshore and offshore programs to approximately 20,000 students.

About You
Reporting to Abhijith Mani (Associate Director, Program Lifecycle &Governance), you will be responsible for providing and coordinating program administration within the College. In this position you will be responsible for providing expert administrative support to the Executives and senior leadership regarding program and course reviews, development, renewal and amendment activity, making a key contribution to the effective delivery of programs and courses across all cohorts, locations and calendars, ensuring alignment with College objectives and plans.

You will work collaboratively with program managers within the Schools and with key internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the development and implementation of programs (courses) and courses (subjects/units) in accordance with regulations, University policies and College procedures, and to ensure that relevant information is up to date and accurate. You will contribute to cultural and work practice changes required to support the College’s strategic directions and will support high quality student service.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have, but not limited to:

  • Proven knowledge and demonstrated experience in the coordination and delivery of administration services in the tertiary education sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating program (course) and course (subject/units) administration activities (desirable), including planning, scheduling and supervising support to meet required standards and set timeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, leading and contributing to the achievement of team goals.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice, contribute to new approaches and to drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
