ANZ Private caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and concerns and their financial situation.

This state based role is responsible for ensuring clients’ needs are met according to client need and satisfaction, with a focus on assisting the Senior Private Banker / Private Banker with all client needs including client meetings, client deposit, lending and other wealth needs.

Your accountabilities would be but not limited to:

• Pro-actively spot opportunities to benefit the client either via the existing client base; supporting the  Private Banker or through direct client interactions and relationship management activities.
• Proactively research and develop new business and cross sell opportunities.

• Co-ordination of middle office teams to ensure transactional needs are complete.
• Support Private Bankers to provide a first class Private Wealth experience.
• Proactively anticipate client requirements and develop an understanding of client’s financial needs.
• Support Private Bankers to achieve key Customer activities.
• Identification and support the delivery of proactive insights.

• Identify and act on opportunities to improve consistency and standardisation of process application.
• Adherence to ANZ Private Bank processes
• Compilation and preparation of all periodic internal reporting requirements
• Planning and schedule of proactive client contacts by Private Banker.
• Ensuring that regular reviews and optimisations of client solutions are conducted

To be successful in this role, you will have the following experiences, knowledge and skills:

• Professional level of bi-lingual skills (oral and written) – English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
• Excellent communication skills with strong cultural understanding and intelligence to manage cultural sensitivities of internal and external stakeholders & partners
• Experience in client relationship management and/or managing of high-net worth client portfolios
• General investment and wealth knowledge with a broad understanding of financial markets.
• Strong complex lending knowledge with ability to understand and read financial statements.
• Ability to deliver excellent Client Relationship Management
• Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution (mandatory)
• Broad knowledge on Private products, systems & processes experience
• Sound judgment and risk management skills, coupled with organisational and time management skills
