About The Role

Role Location: 55 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

 

ANZ Private caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and concerns and their financial situation.

 
 

This state based role, is the primary relationship contact responsible for providing International clients with timely and relevant solutions across banking, wealth and investments. This will be achieved through teaming with the specialists & providing leadership & strategic direction to the Associate Private Banker. The Senior Private Banker will develop a deep understanding of client needs and provide solutions on this basis.

 

Your accountabilities would be but not limited to:

Financial:
  • Meet assigned sales revenue target through the needs based introduction and proactive cross-selling of banking, investment and products
  • Focus on growing share of wallet targets through proactive solicitation of new client and seeking referrals from existing clients
  • Increase the total profit contribution of the clients by directly supporting growth in sales, SOW, FUM and revenues
  • Mitigate financial risks to the business, minimising any credit losses/exposure
 
Customer:
  • Ensuring the delivery of an industry leading client experience in line with ANZ Private's differentiated client propositions and client engagement framework
  • Build high impact relationships with internal/external business partners
  • Liaise with and provide market updates, set review and financial needs analysis to clients, ensuring their financial and objectives are met
  • Ensure that face to face dialogue with clients is high quality
  • Bring along the right specialist to support client needs
 
Process:
  • Keep abreast of key economic trends impacting the industry
  • Ensure lending is suitable and compliant and all decisions are communicated quickly
  • Ensure appropriate and consistent governance across the set whilst maintaining strong deal execution
  • Allocation of work to the Associate Private Banker, and ensuring that you foster collaboration between teams
  • Consistent client experience based on differentiated client propositions
 
About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following experiences, knowledge and skills:

  • Professional level of bi-lingual skills (oral and written) ? English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
  • Excellent communication skills with strong cultural understanding and intelligence to manage cultural sensitivities of internal and external stakeholders & partners
  • Extensive relationship banking/advice experience, preferably within Private Wealth & Investments industry.
  • Proven ability in business development and new client acquisition.
  • Ability to lead client conversations by providing clients with insights and thought leadership ideas.
  • Strong Leadership & management experience especially leading the team to reach portfolio targets
