About the Job
The Project Officer reports to the Director Knox Innovations Opportunities and Sustainability Centre (KIOSC) and works collaboratively with the Lead Teacher. The role involves the effective administration of the KIOSC projects including delivery of its specified outcomes to targets, timelines and budgets while managing resources including purchasing and payments. The Project Officer will provide progress reports to comply with reporting requirements to management.

Working collaboratively with the other staff of Major Projects, the Project Officer will support the other teaching and non-teaching staff according to identified needs. The role requires communication with relevant staff at all levels of the organisation to ensure a coordinated, effective and efficient approach to the administration of KIOSC and its associated activities.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Completed a relevant Degree (Business Administration, Commerce or Project Management) or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Experience in Project Management or Administration and demonstrated skills in co-ordination of operational requirements to deliver within the funded scope, timelines and to budget
• Experience in managing multiple projects/programs in a complex environment including demonstrated planning and organisation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to foster and maintain good relationships.
