About the role:

The College of Business and Law is one of the largest business schools in the Asia Pacific region and delivers industry-engaged education and applied research that spark ambition and new perspectives. Attracting over 31,000 students, programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, and via significant teaching partnerships in Singapore, China and Indonesia. Through RMIT Online the College offers a range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.

The Senior Advisor, Knowledge Management will implement and support effective knowledge management. This is a highly visible role joining a recently established team to deliver key transformation projects across the college. Your role in the team will be creating, maintaining then improving policy and frameworks around knowledge systems.


About you

To be successful for this opportunity you will have:

  • Experience in knowledge management strategy and the provision of advice and recommendations on the collation, storage and development of knowledge across an organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and developing knowledge management frameworks, systems, tools, artefacts, protocols and processes to ensure the effective management of information, preferably in the tertiary education environment.
  • Evidence of professional writing and editing skills, including writing for multiple audiences in print and digital environments and in a variety of formats.
  • High level interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with staff at various organisational levels and influence internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work involving various stakeholders to complete tasks with tight timelines using project management skills. High level computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office software, databases and project management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage complex tasks within a changing environment with the flexibility to adapt to new system

 Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
