The MU90 Technician is primarily responsible for providing day to day technical support to Maintenance activities across a range of areas of the MU90 ISS Contract. This includes the conduct of maintenance activities for the MU90 Torpedo (non-explosive and explosive), torpedo prime items and related support and test equipment (S&TE), hull repair activities and assistance with production engineering activities for MU90 Torpedo and prime items

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

• Appropriate Technical Certificate in either Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic trades
• Technical experience in the defence industry;
• Proven ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to write clear, concise documents containing technical detail
• Experienced in working within Health Safety and Environment (HSE) frameworks with a solid working knowledge of safe work practices relating to personnel and material safety and handling of hazardous materials;
