About the role /College 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing services and projects to support the delivery of high-quality programs and courses and ensure a quality student experience. The role will work collaboratively with members of the L&T delivery teams and provide support to teachers, team leaders and program coordinators in developing contemporary learning experiences. You will be expected to coordinate and lead the team to support course enhancement and program transformation initiatives that align with College and University priorities. In addition, you will manage continuous improvement by regularly monitoring, reviewing, evaluating and reporting to the College Executive on service quality and effectiveness and provide leadership and expert advice in digital educational development, learning design and innovative pedagogies to enhance practice and outcomes in VE programs. 

About you 
You will demonstrate expertise in pedagogical thinking, flexible learning approaches and innovative digital technologies to shape new learning experiences. Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and training teams encouraging ‘agile’ mindset and best practice outcome as well as managing performance of staff will be imperative to your success in this role. Demonstrated outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work as part of a diverse team and liaise and negotiate with a range of people to achieve agreed outcomes and reconcile different views will be highly desirable. In addition, you will have experience in the creation and implementation of effective blended learning design frameworks and an advanced level of digital literacy and significant experience across a range of technology platforms.

Qualifications 

Proven experience in either a senior learning design role or a leadership role in the learning & teaching field, and appropriate relevant industry experience.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
