About the role

An exciting opportunity is on offer for a part-time Administration Officer to work within the Links to Early Learning Demonstration Project team.

This role is based at our Campbelltown Uniting office and is offered on a temporary part-time basis working 2 days per week until 30 June 2021 with some flexibility regarding days and hours but must be available Wednesdays.

As an Administration Officer you will:

  • Undertake general administrational duties with a particular focus on Excel spread sheet creation & data maintenance
  • Provide administration support and assistance to the L2EL Program across administrative tasks including some project responsibilities, maintaining efficient and up-to-date administrative systems
  • Maintain systems to support effective and efficient maintenance of financial, equipment and WHS records

Your experience will tick the following boxes:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a diverse and busy environment
  • Good knowledge of business process ideology, including understanding of policies and their application
  • Experience in Financial Management Systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office particularly with an ability to create and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritising skills
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of staff, both verbally and electronically
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues
  • Proven experience in dealing with confidential issues
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Even better:

  • Experience in WHS and/or Training
  • Current NSW Driver’s License
  • Understanding of Early Childhood services
  • Awareness of issues faced by vulnerable children and families in South West Sydney
